QUESTION OF THE WEEK #5: NBA PLAYOFF UPSETS

Who can pull off a first round upset in the NBA playoffs? Which NBA playoff team is most under the radar?

After the opening weekend of NBA playoff basketball, three teams (Jazz, Bucks, and Bulls), all won Game 1 in their respective series's. However, Game 1 is just that, only one game. The NBA playoffs are a true testament to clutch, competitive basketball, as to pull off an upset, this extreme focus, grit, and determination is needed for at least 4 games against the same opponent.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK #4: MLB EARLY SEASON PREDICTIONS

Which team gets off to a hot start in the MLB season? Which teams/players will surprise people this year?

After the Chicago Cubs shocked the world with their remarkable 3-1 World Series comeback to take the 2016 Fall Classic, the new baseball is upon us. Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles (A), and Texas are popular picks to win it all, but will these perennial powers get a jump on the competition in April. Or will some up and comers take the league by storm in April. Let us know. #QuestionoftheWeek #TableTalkGo

QUESTION OF THE WEEK #3: BEST BACKCOURT IN THE NBA

Who is the best backcourt in the NBA? Who will be the best backcourt in the NBA in say 5 years? 10 years?

The NBA is changing. Now, more than ever, high octane point and shooting guards are required for teams with championship aspirations. Out in the Western Conference the talent at the guard positions oozes off the page, with the traditional fan-favorites (Stephen Curry/Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard/CJ McCollum, Tony Parker/Kawhi Leonard and James Harden/Eric Gordon) receiving heavy pressure from the up and comers of the conference (Eric Bledsoe/Devin Booker and D’Angelo Russell/Brandon Ingram). Then out East the plot thickens. The frontrunners are surely Kyle Lowry and Demar DeRozan, but challengers like Isaiah Thomas/Avery Bradley, John Wall/Bradley Beal, Jeff Teague/Paul George, and Dwayne Wade/Jimmy Butler provide a tough opponent in the backcourt debate. So what makes a strong backcourt? Is it purely scoring? Winning? Flashiness? All-star appearances? Ankle-breakers?

Long story short, you decide. Firstly, what defines a strong backcourt? And secondly who embodies that to the fullest right now in the NBA? In 5 years? What about 10?

QUESTION OF THE WEEK #2: MARCH MADNESS

Who will win it all?

The bracket for March Madness 2017 is right around the corner. For both men and women in NCAA college basketball, the high-stakes, single-elimination tournament is the pinnacle of physical and mental determination, perseverance, and hard work.

Upsets loom, heroes wait to be solidified, and legends will be born. Sure, the favorites are back, per the norm (North Carolina, Kansas, Duke, Villanova, Oregon, Arizona, Wisconsin, UCLA, Kentucky, Gonzaga). But the feisty challengers lay waiting, their chance at that one moment, one opportunity in the spotlight on national television, the Jacksonville States, the UNC Wilmington’s of the world.

Will Villanova defend their crown? How do the freshman sensations like Jayson Tatum, De’Aaron Fox, and Lonzo Ball, take their game to the next level on college basketball’s biggest stage? Who goes home on day 1? And who becomes a household name with one shot? Only time will tell. #QuestionoftheWeek #TableTalkGo
