Performance of the Day: Katie Lou Samuelson

For March 6th, 2017, Katie Lou Samuelson of the Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team garners the daily accolade. She scored 40 points, tacked on 5 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists on 12/14 shooting in the Huskies 100-44 win over South Florida. The win not only powered the Huskies to the regular season ACC title, but it also marked their 107th straight win. Samuelson shot 10/10 from beyond the arc, and managed to put forth her superstar performance in only 28 minutes. Will UCONN even be challenged come March Madness?
