For the weekend of March 10th to March 12th, the performance of the day (weekend), goes to Dion Waiters. The Miami Heat guard has exploded onto the forefront of NBA conversation by guiding the once lost Miami Heat franchise into the Eastern Conference playoff race. Waiters is averaging over 24ppg in his last three contests, as well as 5 assists, and 2 rebounds per game. He was recently named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his current production, and has Miami Heat fans looking towards extended basketball come April this season. While Waiters has at times turned off general managers and coaches because of his arrogant persona, he has found a mentor in Erik Spoelstra, who has given Waiters the proper guidance, patience, and freedom to channel his energy towards wins. Here’s this to think about: in their last 24 games, the Miami Heat are 20-4, best in the NBA over that time period. #PerformanceoftheDay #PerformanceoftheWeekend #TableTalkGo
